Pre Care Instructions for
EYEBROWS

To achieve the best results, it is essential that you understand and follow the pre-care instructions. This process can take up to 4 weeks.
4 Weeks Prior
*           Botox & Fillers must be done at least 4 weeks before or after your appointment.
*           Discontinue Glycolics, Retin-A or Retinol products 4 weeks prior to your appointment.
*           No Anti-aging and/or Anti-acne products in the area to be treated.
*           No Surgery of any kind.
1-2 Weeks Prior
*           Avoid sun and tanning bed 1-2 weeks prior to appointment
*           No facial or chemical peels 2 weeks prior to appointment.
*           Avoid waxing or tinting 1 week prior to appointment.
*           Exfoliate the area to prep your skin for the procedure.
48-72 Hours Prior
*           Avoid blood thinners such as Ibuprofen, aspirin, Aleve, NSAIDS, vitamin E, fish oil or vitamins unless medically necessary 48-72 hrs prior to your appointment.
24 Hours Prior
* Avoid ALCOHOL or CAFFEIN 24hrs prior to your appointment. This will prevent any excess bleeding, oozing and minimizes swelling during the procedure.
On the day of your appointment
*           Feel free wear your makeup if you choose to provide an idea of your desired color and shape. We provide thorough mapping and measurements to create the perfect brow shape for your face.

Aftercare Instructions

The Ombre Brows After-Care (Healing stages process) can take 7-15 days but varies from person to person.
Here’s how the daily after-care looks like:

DAILY CARE:
*           Do not splash water on your brows.
*           Use Water wipes or use a round cotton, wet it with distilled water then very lightly wipe over your brows, then apply ointment using a clean Q-Tip or your fingertips 2-3 times a day, throughout the healing process until brows are completed peeled (ABOUT 7-12 DAYS).
*           You will notice brows flaking, scabbing and itching (in the first 4-12 days) is common as the skin heals.
*           Never try to rub, touch, scratch or remove the scab, to avoid pigmentation loss, infection or scarring.
*           In the shower, just wash your body and keep your head (brows) away.
AVOID FOR 2 WEEKS:
*           No exercising until brows are completed peeled (to avoid sweating).
*           Avoid Retin-A, AHA, Glycolic Acids, exfoliants and anti-aging products on your treated area.
*           No sunlight and tanning beds for 2 weeks
*           Do not wax, peel or laser hair removal treatment around your enhancement
*           No hot tubs, sauna, pools, and the sea during the entire healing process
*           No Brows makeup up during healing time
*           No facial treatments until brows are completed peeled.
After the healing process is compelte: take care of your brows by using sunscreen or moisturizer.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING HEALING PROCESS (estimated timeline below):

*           Day 1-3: Brows look darker, thicker (swollen) and sensitive. Don’t worry, the color will fade ove the next week.
*           Day 4-7: Brows will begin to scab/flake and patchy. do not panic!
*           Day 8-14: Brows are completely peeled & color seem very faint/light.
*           Day 15-35: Color comes back, starts to resurface and darken. As this point, you can decide if there is anything you want to add or change.

LIP BLUSH and NEUTRALIZATION precare instructions:

PLEASE READ!!
If you’ve had any history of cold sores / blisters / herpes (even as a child) or if you’re unsure, you must have your physician prescribe you with Zovirax, Valtrex 3-5 days or L-Lysine 1000mg 3-5 days prior to your appointment or get medication from your doctors 3-5 days prior and 3 days after the procedure and repeat on all visits
* moisturize your lips 3-5 days prior to the procedure.
* Avoid fish oils, Advil, Vitamin E or any other blood thinning medications for at least 1 week.
* Avoid coffee and alcohol 2 -3 days prior.
* If you have previous lip fillers, you must wait a minimum of 4 weeks in order to get lip blush.
* Hydrate with water.

LIPBLUSH after care instructions:

*           Apply light pressure on lips with a clean tissue to remove any lymph.
*           Apply ointment on lips several times a day. Keep lips moist at all times.
*           No kissing, rubbing or friction on treatment area.
*           Avoid oily, spicy and heavily seasoned food and drink with a straw. After every meal gently rinse and clean lips with water and pat dry, then re-apply ointment.
*           Do not pick or rub your lips and let the peeling happen naturally. Continue keeping your lips moist!

EYELINER ENHANCEMENT precare
* instructions:

*           Avoid Glycolics, Retin-A or Retinol products 4 weeks prior to your appointment.
*           Avoid have Botox 4 weeks prior to your appointment (can symmetry).
*           Avoid drink alcohol, coffee, teas 24 – 48 hours prior to your appointment.
*           Avoid Perm or Tint your lashes 1 week prior to your appointment.
*           Ensure lash extensions have been removed completely.
*           Avoid tan 2 weeks prior or have sunburned face.
*           Avoid facial/peel 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
*           Avoid work out the day of the procedure (excessive oils in the skin can prevent the pigment from retaining).
*           Try to get a good night sleep before your treatment.
* Hydrate with water.

EYELINER ENHANCEMENT aftercare instructions:

* Do not pick, rub or peel off your scabs, to avoid bald spots, scars, or infection.
* Do not let the area dry out completely, since this can cause scabbing and cracking of skin surface.
* Keep your hair away from your face.
* No makeup on the treated area for 7-10days
* Do not use mascara until outer healing is completed.
* Avoid sleeping on your face, use a fresh pillowcase.
* Avoid swimming, sauna, hot tubs for the first 7-10days.
* Avoid excessive rinsing and hot water on the treated area.
* Do not wear contact lenses at least 24 hours.
* Do not dye, perm, or use an eyelash curler for 2 weeks.
* Eyes will be puffy and swollen for a few days. Eyes may feel dry or irritated.
* No eyelashes serums or growth stimulation, those products might cause pigment migration
